Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force Cap Badge
This is a cap badge of the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force (RHKAAF) which after the Handover of Hong Kong to China in 1997 was renamed as the Government Flying Service.

Experienced collectors will attest that this is an extremely rare badge for a number of reasons:

• you can hardly find any badges worn by a British auxiliary air force unit.
• the RHKAAF was disbanded in 1997s due to Hong Kong's Handover from the UK to China. After 1997 the RHKAAF was re-constituted as the Hong Kong Government Flying Service, who now wears a different cap badge.
• the RHKAAF was the last British and Commonwealth auxiliary air force ever, and the disbandment of this unit marked the complete disappearance of such type of units in the world

This badge is made of metal and original. It is not a restrike. This badge unfortunately has one missing lug but otherwise in great and unissued condition.
